Dr. George Saggal grew up near Newport, Rhode Island where he sailed on the professional level most of his life. Dr. Saggal completed his undergraduate studies in Biology and Exercise Science at the University of Rhode Island. Following his passion that revolves around the promotion of overall wellness and healthy lifestyle, Dr. Saggal achieved his doctorate at the University of Bridgeport: College of Chiropractic in 2017.
During his time at the University of Rhode Island, Dr. Saggal was an active member of the sailing team, as well as developed a proper preseason workout plan to help prepare the team, as well as minimize mid season injuries. While in chiropractic school, Dr. Saggal treated Division II athletes, and was selected to partake in a clinical rotation at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Connecticut treating our veterans. Dr. Saggal is well versed in a variety of techniques and has earned certificates in : Full body Active Release Technique, FAKTR, Rocktape, FMT Movement Specialist, Microgate Functional Analysis, and (CCSP) Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.
Dr. Saggal was the clinical director at a multidisciplinary practice for his previous work, where he was the lead chiropractor and managed a team of integrated health professionals including an acupuncturist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, nurse practitioner, pain management doctors, and massage therapist. Dr. Saggal is excited to bring on his experience to the town of Franklin Lakes and the surrounding area, and help continue to bring great care to our patients here at Franklin Lakes Chiropractic and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Saggal worked on the EMT squad for Rockaway Neck (Parsippany) for the last year and loved giving back to the community in any way he could. He is a resident of Wayne, NJ where he lives with his fiancé. In his free time he enjoys hiking with their dog, cycling, and sailing.
